Criminals in several European countries have a very hard time getting pistols or automatic weapons because of tough gun laws. The IRA is not supporting people's rights, or their welfare, but a gun industry and its many retail outlets.

The only thing that will help is to make it a capital crime to use a gun during the commission of a crime, and carry out the execution within 6 months. Youre not going to get criminals to give up their guns no matter what kind of laws you pass, the only thing you will do is make it more difficult for honest citizens to protect themselves from armed criminals, look at Mexico.

blah blah blah

Whats the matter the NRA gearing up for membership drive? Too far away from an election for it to be the usual GOP "pandering to the base".
